The Eastern Jeonnam Branch of Habitat for Humanity has selected 41 vulnerable households in Jeonnam this year whose residential environment urgently needs improvement. Among them, the Authority plans to support 15 low-income families and group homes for people with disabilities.

Hwang Hakbeom, Acting President, stated, "We will continue to collaborate with Habitat for Humanity to improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups and will actively support our neighbors so they can live more safely and warmly."

Meanwhile, since 2017, the Authority has collaborated with the Eastern Jeonnam Branch of Habitat for Humanity to support a variety of projects, including improving housing facilities for elderly people living alone and low-income households, creating study rooms for multicultural families, providing housing support for homeless vulnerable groups, and repairing homes for low-income national merit recipients. To date, the Authority has helped improve the residential environment for a total of 84 households. In addition, every year, the Authority's employee volunteer group participates in house building and repair volunteer activities, putting neighborly love into practice.
