The GS-Senior Companion Convenience Store is a senior employment community project that creates jobs through profits generated from store operations and a specialized business team. It is a generational integration employment model where middle-aged and senior citizens work together. All store profits are used entirely for senior wages and business operation expenses.

The third branch (GS Pungmu Ja-i Branch), which operates 24 hours a day, year-round, is managed by the Gimpo Senior Club, the senior job agency of Gimpo City. Currently, 12 seniors aged 60 or older in the city are working at this location.

At the opening ceremony held on the 29th, more than 40 people, including the Director of Welfare of Gimpo City, participating seniors, and local residents, attended. The event included a name tag awarding ceremony and presentations of participants' experiences.

One participating senior shared, "Being able to interact with people and work regularly has brought more vitality to my life, and I feel that I will work with a sense of fulfillment, knowing that I can contribute to society, even if only a little."

The city plans to expand the diversity and sustainability of customized senior jobs through the opening of this third branch. In particular, Gimpo City is committed to providing stable employment so that local seniors can demonstrate their expertise and capabilities and feel a sense of pride.

Meanwhile, Gimpo City has invested a total budget of 14.07 billion KRW this year, creating 3,178 senior jobs and contributing to improving the quality of life for seniors as well as revitalizing the local economy.
