Daejin University CEO Sangsaeng Scholarship Association Awards 20 Million Won in Scholarships for First Semester

Daejin University (President Jang Seokhwan) announced on the 30th that it held the scholarship award ceremony and scholarship certificate presentation for the Daejin University CEO Sangsaeng Scholarship Association (President Kang Yongbeom) for the first semester of the 2025 academic year on the 28th in the International Seminar Room on the second floor of the main building.

The ceremony was attended by Daejin University President Jang Seokhwan, Vice President So Seonggyu, Graduate School Dean Kim Seongsu (also Dean of the Graduate School of Public Policy), Director of Educational Innovation Office Kwak Taegun, Director of Admissions and Public Relations Kim Taeyang, Daejin University CEO Sangsaeng Scholarship Association President Kang Yongbeom, Vice President Yoo Jaegwan, Advisory Committee Chair Yang Hosik, Daejin CEO Alumni Association President Park Suwon, and other alumni representatives.


This scholarship, provided by the Daejin University CEO Sangsaeng Scholarship Association, has been awarded every semester since the 2020 academic year to students who are either from financially disadvantaged families or who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and talent. This semester, 20 students each received one million won, totaling 20 million won in scholarships.


Daejin University President Jang Seokhwan stated, "I would like to sincerely thank the Daejin University CEO Sangsaeng Scholarship Association and the Daejin CEO Alumni Association for their continued scholarship donations to our university." He added, "I hope that the students who received these scholarships will not forget the silent support and efforts of the Daejin University CEO Sangsaeng Scholarship Association and the Daejin CEO Alumni Association, and that they will strive for their dreams and hopes. I also hope that, when they succeed in the future, they will show great interest and consideration for their juniors."


Kang Yongbeom, President of the Daejin University CEO Sangsaeng Scholarship Association, said, "I hope this will help outstanding students with potential to challenge themselves, achieve their dreams, grow, and succeed." He added, "We will continue to make efforts to donate scholarships to Daejin University in the future."
