Integrated Solutions Covering Management and Legal Issues
"Introducing Customized Programs for Practitioners"
To Be Held on August 8... "Free Participation on a First-Come, First-Served Basis"
Amid growing concerns among businesses over the sweeping changes in labor policy anticipated under the new administration, law firm Lin and Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) announced on the 29th that they will be holding an "integrated seminar for systematic corporate response."
The "1st Management and Legal Integrated Seminar," jointly hosted by law firm Lin and KMAC, will take place on August 8 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the FKI Tower in Yeouido, Seoul.
Policy changes across the entire labor environment, such as the introduction of a 4.5-day workweek, the abolition of the comprehensive wage system, and the amendment of the Yellow Envelope Act, which are being pursued by the new administration, require companies to review not just HR or labor issues but their overall management strategies. As these changes are expected to have a direct impact on organizational operations and legal response systems, an integrated approach that encompasses both managerial solutions and legal perspectives is urgently needed.
This seminar marks the first time the two organizations will introduce an integrated service model that provides one-stop support, from management strategy development to legal risk response. The focus is on minimizing organizational risks and presenting actionable, concrete strategies.
The seminar will proceed in the following order: ▲Comprehensive analysis of the new government's labor policies ▲Legal risk assessment and response strategies from law firm Lin ▲HR (Human Resources) design strategies for working hours reform from KMAC ▲A panel discussion with labor policy experts.
All participants will receive a seminar report summarizing the key points. After the seminar, there will also be time for expert consultations and networking tailored to the specific situations of individual companies.
Cha Sunhee, attorney at Lin (head of the HR team), stated, "The recent changes in the labor environment present significant challenges to companies in both speed and intensity," and added, "This seminar is focused on helping HR and labor practitioners identify legal risks that are often overlooked and establish practical response strategies in advance."
A KMAC representative said, "In this rapidly changing policy environment, the survival strategy for companies lies in 'preemptive risk management,'" and continued, "We will continue to develop integrated solutions with law firm Lin to help companies address both management issues and legal risks simultaneously."
Seminar registration is available on the law firm Lin website.
