Supporting Recovery and Daily Life Restoration
for Residents in Six Regions
through the National Disaster Relief Association

Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) announced on July 29 that it had donated 5 million won to the National Disaster Relief Association to support six regions recently declared special disaster zones due to heavy rainfall: Gapyeong in Gyeonggi Province, Seosan and Yesan in South Chungcheong Province, Damyang in South Jeolla Province, and Sancheong and Hapcheon in South Gyeongsang Province.

This donation is intended to help restore homes and infrastructure damaged by the torrential rain and to assist affected residents in returning to their daily lives.

Shin Changho, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, stated, "In a situation where disasters are recurring due to the climate crisis, providing prompt support is a social responsibility of the corporation," and added, "We will actively respond to disaster situations and foster a culture of sharing together with the local community."

In addition to this donation, Busan Metropolitan Corporation continues to pursue a variety of social contribution activities, such as improving residential welfare and supporting vulnerable groups, in its ongoing efforts to enhance citizen safety and quality of life.
