On July 29, Suncheon City announced that it will operate a special summer program called 'Summer Masil' at the Suncheonman National Garden, offering experiences designed to evoke emotion and relaxation.
'Summer Masil' is held at the Therapy Garden within Suncheonman National Garden, under the concept of enjoying a summer garden in a traditional Hanok. The main programs include incense therapy, traditional tea and snack tasting, making Cheongsachorong lanterns, Korean traditional music performances, and a moon-themed photo zone. Each event is designed to provide sensory healing through all five senses.
This event is scheduled to take place four times from August 2 to August 30, with each session running for about two hours from 6:30 p.m.
Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu stated, "Through this event, I hope citizens can fully experience the emotion and relaxation of the season in the garden, enjoying a small pause in their daily lives," and added, "We will strive to expand the role of the garden beyond a simple place to visit, transforming it into a healing space that connects with the lives and emotions of our citizens."
