First-Come, First-Served Registration Starts August 1
50 Courses Offered Including AI and Humanities
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will accept first-come, first-served applications for the third semester of the lifelong education program 'Hwaseong Citizen University' from August 1 to August 14.
The courses offered are in three areas: Hwaseong Studies, Citizenship Studies, and Learning Studies, with a total of 50 classes. This semester, a wide range of educational programs are available, covering topics from science and technology to the humanities, including 'Smartphone Video and Short-form Content Production', 'The Future of Hwaseong Special City with AI', and 'Walking Through British Cities and Experiencing Their Culture'.
Any Hwaseong resident aged 18 or older is eligible to apply. The attendance requirement for each course is at least 70%. Citizens who complete more than 100 hours will be awarded an honorary degree in the name of the Mayor of Hwaseong.
