Starring Kim Youngkwang and Chae Soobin
On July 29, Netflix announced that it will produce a romantic comedy series titled "Charge Me Up," which centers around electricity as its main theme.
This electrifying romance tells the story of a man who needs electricity and a woman who emits electricity whenever she makes contact with someone. Kim Youngkwang will play the role of Baek Horang, a third-generation chaebol who lives with an artificial heart. Chae Soobin will portray Na Bobae, a woman whose entire body conducts electricity after being struck by lightning as a child.
The series will be directed by Park Suwon, who previously worked on "Work Later, Drink Now 2" and "Birthcare Center."
