VT is showing strong performance. This is believed to be influenced by analysts' assessments that the company's entry into the North American market is gaining momentum.
As of 11:38 a.m. on July 29, VT was trading at 36,900 won, up 6.96% from the previous day.
VT is a company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of cosmetics, with more than 93% of its total revenue generated from the cosmetics segment. Its flagship brands include "Reedle Shot" and "Cica Line," both of which emphasize skin soothing, moisturizing, and anti-aging functions. In particular, the Reedle Shot line, which incorporates the micro-needle technology "CicaReedle," has established brand credibility based on a high repurchase rate and strong customer satisfaction.
Han Yonghee, a researcher at Growth Research, stated in a report on this day, "As of the first quarter of last year, overseas sales accounted for 68% of VT's total revenue, with Japan representing the largest share at 45%." He continued, "Starting this year, sales expansion in the U.S. market is expected to accelerate and emerge as a new growth driver."
Since August of last year, VT has been selling its products through Costco's online mall, and since the beginning of this year, the company has been working to enter offline stores as well.
In June, VT simultaneously launched its products in both the online and offline stores of Ulta Beauty, a leading U.S. cosmetics distribution channel. Currently, nine products are available online and six products are available in offline stores. It is reported that the company is considering expanding to all stores in the future.
Researcher Han explained, "VT's entry into North America goes beyond simply expanding distribution channels; the company is also pursuing localization strategies and brand marketing. By participating in Ulta Beauty's 'K-Beauty Hall of Fame' event, VT is actively promoting its brand to buyers, influencers, and media representatives."
He added, "VT has also begun entering Target stores. Although the number of SKUs is still small, the company views this as a bridgehead for future expansion of its distribution network."
