Gwangju Shinsegae Opens 'Ippeunyeou Hotdog' Pop-up Store Until July 31

Bacon Corn Mayo Hotdog, Hot Barbecue Hotdog, and More

Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Donghoon) announced on July 29 that it has opened a pop-up store for the popular hot dog restaurant "Ippeunyeou Hotdog" on the basement first floor of its main building, running until July 31.

Ippeunyeou Hotdog, which is famous as a must-visit "bread pilgrimage" spot on Hwangridan-gil in Gyeongju, started as a food truck and now offers American-style hot dogs made with a recipe developed over more than six years.

Ippeunyeou Hotdog features a special sauce made from twelve carefully selected ingredients, homemade sausages smoked with high-quality Korean pork, and a variety of toppings. Their hot dogs are served with thick and crispy French fries, which are also a popular specialty menu item.

The signature menu items are: "Bacon Corn Mayo Hotdog" for 9,900 won, "Hot Barbecue Hotdog" for 7,500 won, "Sweet Corn French Fries" for 8,900 won, "Mexican Chipotle French Fries" for 8,900 won, and "Wasabi Mayo French Fries" for 8,900 won.
