The first batch of "TVING Short Original" will be released on August 4 and August 18, featuring a total of four episodes across different genres and themes, including suspenseful revenge and romance. Notably, the project brings together acclaimed production teams known for their creative direction and rising actors recognized for their strong performances.

The first episode, "Shut Up, You're the Villain in My Work," will be released on August 4. The story follows a school violence victim who becomes a famous drama writer and encounters her former bully as the lead actor in her new work, unfolding into a suspenseful revenge drama. This marks actress Park Yuna's first appearance in a short drama, following her roles in "SKY Castle" and "Hotel Del Luna." Director Jung Jonghoon, who previously directed the webtoon-based "Girl's World 2," presents his second collaboration with writer Jung Heeyoon after their work on the short-form drama "Love Money Mafia."

Also premiering on the same day is "The Killer Next Door," which is drawing attention for starring Cha Hakyeon, leader of the group VIXX and actor, alongside model and rising actor Kang Rihan. The content depicts a bromance between a killer and a former superstar baseball player. This is the first short drama jointly produced by director Yang Jungwoo of tvN's "The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge" and writer Jung Bohun of "Prison Playbook."

On August 18, "I Will Repay Adultery With Adultery" will be released. This 19+ rated office melodrama follows a protagonist who, betrayed by her husband and best friend, begins a dangerous contractual affair with her best friend's husband as an act of revenge. Director Lee Siyoung, who won "Best Web Drama" at the APAN Star Awards for "Contract Dating Starting Today," and writer Park Jieun of "Half of Me" collaborated on this project. New actors Baek Soohee, Jo Chanhyun, Kim Sanghee, and Jung Hakyeong feature in the cast.

Also releasing on August 18 is "Me, Me, and Me," which presents a school drama in a short-form format. The story follows an ordinary high school girl who receives a phone call from herself ten years in the future, setting her off on a journey to find true love. Rookie actress Kim Sieun from "Family Planning" and CIX member Yoon Hyunsuk star in the drama. Director Choi Sunghwan, known for the documentary "Ryu Junyeol and the Students in Uniform," was in charge of planning and script, while director Kim Yul, who worked on Tooniverse web dramas "Love Formula Gu Hari" and "Don't Worry Salgu," directed the series.

"TVING Short Original" will be available for viewing on mobile devices and tablets through a dedicated brand section within the TVING app. To celebrate the initial launch, all short originals and short-form content released this year will be available for free to everyone. TVING stated, "In addition to our self-produced short originals, we plan to introduce a variety of short dramas through collaborations with external production companies," and added, "Based on TVING's unique capabilities in producing differentiated K-content, we will lead the expansion of the domestic K-content market."
