Triple Functional Certification by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety
On July 29, Hyundai Pharm announced that its beverage brand 'Miero Fiber' has expanded into the health functional food category with the launch of 'Miero Fiber Daytok', a convenient way to consume dietary fiber.
'Miero Fiber Daytok' is the first health functional food product under the Miero Fiber brand. This new product features 'indigestible maltodextrin', a 100% plant-based ingredient extracted from corn. This ingredient has been recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for three functional benefits: suppressing postprandial blood sugar spikes, improving blood triglyceride levels, and supporting smooth bowel movements.
In addition, the product contains 26 different supplementary ingredients extracted from fiber-rich fruits and vegetables, such as orange concentrate and chicory root extract, maximizing its synergistic effect.
'Miero Fiber Daytok' is a soluble dietary fiber that can be consumed with water or sparkling water, or taken as is, allowing for personalized consumption according to individual preferences and situations. Developed with a sweet and tangy flavor, the product is fat-free and sugar-free, making it easy to enjoy daily without worrying about calories.
A Hyundai Pharm representative stated, "Miero Fiber Daytok is a health functional food developed to allow people to consume the dietary fiber they need for their health once a day in a delicious and convenient way."
