The "Gyeonggi-do Youth Worker Savings Account" is an asset-building support program for young people from households with an income at or below 120% of the median income who reside in Gyeonggi Province. If a participant saves 100,000 won each month for two years, the province will provide matching funds, allowing the participant to build assets of up to 5.8 million won. The program aims to encourage continued employment among young workers and help them establish a foundation for independence.

Eligible applicants, as of the recruitment announcement date (July 25, 2025), must meet all of the following criteria: be between 19 and 39 years old and reside in Gyeonggi Province, be currently employed, and belong to a household with a recognized income at or below 120% of the median income.

Final selected participants who save 100,000 won monthly will receive matching funds from Gyeonggi Province and, after two years, can receive up to 5.8 million won (including 1 million won in local currency). The accumulated funds can be used for purposes such as student loan repayment, housing, education, starting a business, or marriage, in line with the goal of achieving independence.

Applications must be submitted online through the Youth Worker Savings Account website, and final participants will be selected after an income and asset assessment.

A city official said, "We hope for great interest and participation in this program, which actively supports young people in building assets and planning for their future."
