The Seongju-gun Community Social Security Council (Public Chairperson Lee Byunghwan) announced on the 28th that it was selected as an outstanding institution and received an award at the "2026 Allocation Project Briefing Session" hosted by the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea.
This briefing session was held on the 22nd at the Gyeongbuk Women and Family Plaza (Yecheon-gun), with approximately 350 officials from social welfare facilities and institutions in Gyeongbuk in attendance.
During the briefing session, the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea introduced the 2026 allocation project standards and application procedures, information on the lottery fund project, and proposal writing methods. In particular, it selected and awarded outstanding institutions that contributed to the development of community welfare in the region.
The Seongju-gun Council was honored to be selected as an "Outstanding Institution" in recognition of its proactive implementation of the allocation project and contributions to improving community welfare.
Seongju-gun has demonstrated exemplary performance in project implementation by operating various programs tailored to local welfare needs and establishing a public-private cooperation system.
Lee Byunghwan, Public Chairperson, stated, "This award is the result of our continued efforts to enhance the welfare of our residents, and we will continue to strive to build a more robust welfare safety net in the future."
Meanwhile, Seongju-gun plans to further strengthen its cooperation with the Community Chest of Korea and continue to promote various welfare projects aimed at eliminating welfare blind spots and fostering community integration.
