Renault Group Drives Global Growth with 1,169,773 Vehicles Sold in First Half of the Year

Renault Brand Drives Group Performance with Rapid Growth in Global Markets
Up 1.3% Year-on-Year... Steady Growth Across Major Markets

Renault Group sold over 1.16 million vehicles worldwide in the first half of this year.

On July 28, Renault Group announced that it sold 1,169,773 new vehicles in the global market during the first half of 2025, marking a 1.3% increase compared to the same period last year.

Renault Group’s brands, including Renault, Dacia, and Alpine, achieved solid sales results in major global markets such as Europe. The performance of electrified models also stood out.

The main driver behind Renault Group’s performance in the first half of this year was the Renault brand. The Renault brand sold over 808,000 new vehicles globally during this period, achieving a growth rate of 2.7% compared to the same period last year. In the first half of this year, the Renault brand rose to second place in the European automotive market and recorded a high growth rate of 16.3% in global markets outside Europe. It is evaluated that strong results in key markets such as Korea, Central and South America, and Morocco, achieved through the Renault brand’s global strategy, the ‘International Game Plan,’ played a significant role.

In the first half of 2025, electrified models accounted for 44.6% of Renault Group’s sales. This figure increased by more than 15 percentage points compared to the same period last year.

Renault Group’s hybrid sales also surged by over 36% year-on-year, making it the second-largest player in the European hybrid market. Pure electric vehicles, led by the Renault 5 E-Tech, the leader in the European B-segment, accounted for more than 16% of Renault Group’s sales in the first half of this year.

Renault Group plans to further solidify its foundation in the global market in the second half of 2025 through continued electrification efforts and the International Game Plan.
