Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province will begin offering a "Visiting Civil Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon Application Service" from July 28 for citizens with mobility difficulties, such as the elderly and people with disabilities.
This measure is intended to reduce inconvenience for vulnerable groups who have difficulty applying in person, and to ensure that no citizen is excluded from the benefits of the consumption coupon. Eligible citizens can apply by calling the administrative welfare center in their town or district of residence. A designated public official will then visit the applicant's home to receive the application form and deliver the prepaid card in person.
However, if another household member who can apply for the consumption coupon on behalf of the applicant lives in the same household, the applicant will be excluded from this home visit service.
A Yangju City official stated, "We will carefully ensure that the Civil Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon provides practical help to citizens and that no one is left out of the support."
