Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Donggeun) announced on the 28th that it held the '7th Performance Evaluation Committee Member Appointment Ceremony' at the City Hall's Council Hall on the 25th and presented letters of appointment to 12 private sector experts.

Since 2012, the city has been operating a comprehensive performance evaluation system, striving to establish a culture of organizational efficiency. The Performance Evaluation Committee, which plays a central role in this system, is responsible for conducting qualitative evaluations of performance indicators and reviewing revisions to these indicators.
The newly appointed committee members are private sector experts in major fields such as administration, welfare, and urban affairs. Over the next two years, they will comprehensively evaluate the implementation results of the city's major policies and projects, aiming to enhance the overall quality of municipal administration.
Mayor Kim Donggeun stated, "Performance evaluation is not just about scores; it is an important tool directly linked to the quality of administration as experienced by citizens. I expect that committee members, who possess extensive experience and insight in local administration and related fields, will play a leading role in improving citizens' quality of life through fair and professional evaluations."
