National Police Agency to Host Human Rights Film Contest Open to All Citizens

This year's theme for the film festival is 'Human Rights Through Film, Police Through Stories'. The festival has shifted from its previous scenario contest format to a competition for completed films, aiming to capture a wider range of voices and more vivid stories from the field.

The short film competition is open until September 19. The competition category is short films (under 40 minutes), and anyone in the country can participate. Entries will be judged in two divisions: the general division and the youth division. The winning films will be officially screened and awarded during the 'Police Human Rights Week' in December.

An official from the National Police Agency stated, "Since this year we have switched to a competition for completed films, we expect to discover richer and more vivid stories about human rights," and added, "We hope that through these films, the police will have an opportunity to communicate more deeply with the public."
