Financial Services Commission Recruiting Participants for Second Half of D-Testbed Program

Financial Services Commission Recruiting Participants for Second Half of D-Testbed Program

The Financial Services Commission announced on July 25 that it will be recruiting participants for the second half of the "2025 D-Testbed" program for four weeks, from July 28 to August 22.

The D-Testbed is a program that provides a testbed for startups, prospective entrepreneurs, and others with innovative fintech ideas to use data and actually test their financial service-related projects. Anyone with an idea they wish to test through the program?including individuals, teams, and companies?is eligible to participate.

Participants will be provided with an idea testing environment (available for a separate 14-week testing period) as well as various forms of support for testing their ideas and connecting them to commercialization opportunities.

The testing environment consists of real data, a remote analysis system based on this data (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), and an offline analysis environment that can be used at any time. Unlike previous years, when only data provided within the D-Testbed environment could be used, starting this year, participants can also bring some of their own data into the testbed and utilize it more broadly.

If selected as a D-Testbed participant, individuals will receive mentoring from experts in various fields such as data analysis, security, investment, and law, as well as an evaluation report on the overall testing process and the commercialization potential of their ideas. Additionally, participants are awarded extra points during the screening process when applying for fintech support programs operated by the Fintech Support Center.

Beginning this year, an AI-specialized track has been newly established to respond to the demand for developing AI-related fintech ideas. Participants selected for this track will receive focused support with high-performance hardware (GPUs) to enable fast execution of large-scale computational tasks for AI development.
