As Part of Credit Finance Association's Joint Marketing
2.5 Billion Won to Be Awarded to 310,000 Winners
KakaoBank is participating in an event where customers who have fully used their 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon' will be eligible to receive a 'Special Consumption Coupon' worth up to 50,000 won. This event is part of the 'Consumption Coupon Joint Marketing' organized by the Credit Finance Association, and is being jointly conducted by all card companies and banks that operate the 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon' service.
The 'Special Consumption Coupon' will be awarded by lottery to customers who have used the entire amount of their first-round 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon' by August 31. Customers who receive the first-round coupon from KakaoBank and use it in full within the designated period will be automatically entered into the lottery, with no separate application required.
The 'Special Consumption Coupon' will be distributed in varying amounts: 10,000 people will win 50,000 won, 100,000 people will win 10,000 won, and 200,000 people will win 5,000 won. In total, 310,000 winners will be selected across all card companies and banks. KakaoBank will individually notify and distribute the coupons to the winners during September.
The 'Special Consumption Coupon' can also be used at small business merchants with annual sales of 3 billion won or less, just like the existing 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon'.
On the first day of the program, approximately 300,000 customers received the 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon' from KakaoBank. Applications can be made through the 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon' page within the application (app).
KakaoBank stated, "We have designed the service so that everything from application to participation in the 'Special Consumption Coupon' event can be handled within KakaoBank," and added, "By participating in this event, we aim to provide customer benefits and contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
