Program to Foster Innovative Talent in the Bio-Health Industry
GC Green Cross announced on the 25th that it held an awards ceremony for the "Joint Research Note Competition" at Ajou University in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, on the 24th, and awarded scholarships to the winners.

At the ceremony, which was held under the themes of molecular diagnostics, innovative new drugs, and bio-materials, student Seong Yujin (Department of Molecular Science and Technology) received the grand prize in the field of molecular diagnostics. In addition, five other students were awarded the Excellence Prize and the Merit Prize, respectively.
A research note refers to documentation that records all processes and outcomes of research, from the beginning of the study to reporting results, presentations, or securing intellectual property rights. It is used to prove the integrity of research, maintain continuity, and protect research results, and it also serves as basic material when publishing academic papers or filing for patents.
This Joint Research Note Competition was organized as part of an industry-academia cooperation program that GC Green Cross launched with Ajou University in January 2024 through an agreement for fostering talent and research exchange.
GC Green Cross plans to discover outstanding talent with core competencies required in the bio-health sector and strengthen its global competitiveness based on its industry-academia cooperation relationships.
Choi Youngil, Head of the RED Division of Research and Development (R&D) at GC Green Cross, said, "Through this awards ceremony, we could see the high level of interest Ajou University students have in the bio-health industry," and added, "GC Green Cross will continue to support various programs, including the note competition, to foster innovative talent in the bio-health industry based on industry-academia cooperation."
