The five essential safety rules for heatwave protection are: water, shade, rest, cooling gear, and emergency measures.

This campaign was held in cooperation with the Changwon Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (headed by Yang Youngbong), the front-line offices of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency in the Busan region (Busan Regional Headquarters, Ulsan Regional Headquarters, Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, Gyeongnam Eastern Branch), and related organizations. The campaign included: ▲ using a food truck during lunch hours to distribute cold drinks and cup bingsu while providing guidance on the five essential safety rules for heatwave protection; ▲ operating a mobile health clinic to provide health management services for workers and distributing promotional items (such as cool sleeves). Through these activities, the campaign effectively raised awareness among on-site workers about the importance of preventing heat-related illnesses.

Participants in the campaign included the Gyeongnam Provincial Government's Serious Accident Prevention Division, K Shipbuilding, the Gyeongnam Labor-Management-Government Council, the Korea Industrial Health Association Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, the Korea Industrial Safety Association Changwon Branch, and LG HelloVision.

Jung Jongdeuk, head of the Busan Regional Headquarters, stated, "As this summer is expected to be hotter than usual, both employers and workers must strictly adhere to the five essential safety rules for heatwave protection to prevent heat-related illnesses and other industrial accidents. The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency will spare no effort and support to ensure that a safety-first organizational culture is widely established."
