Expansion of Short-Term Job Matching Demand
Nider's Growth Potential and Expertise in the Spotlight
Nider, the operator of the ultra-short-term work service 'Geupgu,' announced on the 25th that it has secured a strategic investment and formed a business partnership with Timee, the leading short-term job platform in Japan.
The two companies plan to actively promote the spread of short-term work practices in Korea and create new business models through this collaboration. Timee expects that its know-how, combined with Geupgu's expertise in the Korean market, will generate significant synergy through this investment in Nider.
Shin Hyunsik, CEO of Nider, stated, "Korea is currently experiencing two significant changes simultaneously: a decline in the labor force and an increase in demand for flexible jobs." He added, "This investment and partnership with Timee will serve as an important first step in sharing both companies' development experience and technology related to short-term work, and in jointly driving innovation in the time-based labor market."
Ogawa Ryo, CEO of Timee, also said, "Since its founding, Timee has been dedicated to addressing the serious social issue of 'labor shortages' in Japan." He continued, "By combining Timee's expertise accumulated in Japan with Nider's deep understanding of the Korean market, we will be able to more effectively realize efforts to expand work opportunities in Korea as well."
