From July 25 to August 21
Exclusive Dessert Pop-up at Time Villas Suwon
The event will run from July 25 to August 21 at Time Villas Suwon, Lotte Mall Gimpo Airport, and Lotte Mall Suji. In consideration of the demand from "mallcance" customers seeking more than just shopping, a variety of experiential content has been prepared. In addition, unique pop-up stores will be held at each location, along with instant prize events and special benefits such as food and beverage (F&B) discount coupons.
First, there will be summer-exclusive pop-up stores. At Time Villas Suwon, until August 3, a "Peach Alert" pop-up store themed around seasonal summer peaches will be held. The wellness smoothie brand "Tikitiki" by chef Chae Nakyoung, known for his black-and-white chef persona, will make its exclusive debut through this retailer.
The fine dessert brand "Patisserie Fruits" by chef Lim Haseon, famous for cakes shaped like real fruit, will launch a menu exclusive to Time Villas. There will be a variety of peach-themed experiential activities, including "Peach Shot," an indoor shooting game using peach foam balls, a giant ball pit filled with peach balls, and large peach sculptures. Visitors can also participate in a DIY T-shirt event by the fruit-themed apparel brand "Kimssine Gwail," which sparked the MZ (Millennial + Gen Z) open-run craze.
At the Suji branch, a "Beer Festa" will be held until August 6, featuring the exclusive domestic launch of "Aesooji Vienna Lager," a new product from "Bebeyangjo," a brand awarded at the 2024 Korea Liquor Awards. At the Gimpo Airport branch, from August 11 to 24, the climbing gorpcore brand "Tansan Magnesium" will hold a pop-up store exclusively through this retailer.
During the event period, customers visiting the malls will have the chance to win a variety of prizes. The "Lucky Signal" time-attack event will offer gifts such as "Lotte Hotel accommodation vouchers," "iPads," and "AirPods Max."
For food-loving mallcance visitors, "F&B discount coupons" will be available. A 5,000 won discount coupon will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis through the Lotte Department Store app for purchases of F&B products over 10,000 won. Additionally, the "Stamp Signal" event will award a 10,000 won dining discount coupon to customers who collect three purchase stamps during the event period.
Park Junhong, Head of Shopping Mall Business Strategy at Lotte Department Store, said, "We have prepared a variety of events so that customers can enjoy a summer that satisfies all five senses at our shopping malls," and added, "We hope for great interest and anticipation from customers, as we have prepared mallcance packages that showcase the essence of summer vacations."
