20 Million Won in Emergency Relief Funds Donated
to Ulju County Residents Affected by Water Supply Pipeline Damage
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters (headed by So Youseop) visited the Ulju County Office on July 23 and delivered emergency relief funds worth 20 million won to support residents of six towns and townships in Ulju County who are suffering from a water outage.
The emergency relief funds will be used to purchase 40,000 bottles of free drinking water for residents of six towns and townships in Ulju County, whose tap water supply has been cut off due to damage to water supply pipelines caused by heavy rainfall in the area.
So Youseop, head of the Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "I hope this will help alleviate the inconvenience experienced by Ulju County residents affected by the water outage," and added, "As a caring neighbor and partner in the community, Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters will always actively support any area in the community that needs assistance."
Last weekend, Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters quickly assessed the damage situation through the emergency contact system of local organizations, anticipating potential flood damage in nearby areas, and carried out 'Anbu Call' check-ins with sister villages around the power plant.
Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters plans to continue prioritizing the safety of Ulju County residents and minimizing inconvenience in the event of an emergency disaster, while maintaining a close disaster response cooperation system with the local community.
