Donation to the Korean Red Cross
Funds to Be Used for Recovery and Support for Disaster Victims
Hyosung has taken action to support the swift recovery of flood-affected areas and to assist disaster victims.
On July 23, Hyosung donated 300 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross to aid in recovery efforts following heavy rainfall. This donation was prepared in collaboration with the group's major business affiliates. The funds will be used to restore homes damaged by flooding, repair agricultural land, fix destroyed roads, and support people who have lost their livelihoods due to the recent heavy rains across the country.
Chairman Cho Hyunjun of Hyosung stated, "I hope this contribution will provide at least some help for those struggling with unexpected heavy rains to return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, Hyosung has consistently donated funds in response to national disasters, including the wildfire in Yeongnam in March 2025, the heavy rainfall in July 2023, the wildfire in Gangneung in April 2023, the heavy rainfall in August 2022, the wildfire on the East Coast in March 2022, the heavy rainfall in August 2020, and the COVID-19 outbreak in February 2020.
