Anseong City Successfully Concludes 'Social Economy Public Procurement Matching Day'

Priority Purchasing Agreement Signed Between City and Four Public Institutions

Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 23rd that it successfully held the '2025 Anseong Social Economy Public Procurement Matching Day' on the 22nd in the main conference room of City Hall to promote the use of products and services from social economy enterprises.

This event, organized by the Social Economy Support Center of the Citizen Activity Integrated Support Group, was designed to provide various jobs and services to vulnerable groups by revitalizing social economy enterprises, and to address a range of local issues such as the environment, care, and food.


During the event, products and services from social economy enterprises were introduced through exhibitions, promotional activities, and consultation sessions featuring 16 social economy enterprises.


In addition, the city and four public institutions signed a business agreement to promote priority purchasing for local mutual growth. Participants in the agreement included Hankyung National University, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Anseong Hospital, National Health Insurance Service Anseong Branch, and Anseong City Facilities Management Corporation.


Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong, stated, "Simply by using the products and services of social economy enterprises, we can solve various local issues and move toward a more inclusive society. Anseong City will also work together to further spread social values."


Meanwhile, there are currently 130 social economy enterprises in Anseong, including social enterprises, village enterprises, cooperatives, and self-support enterprises.
