On July 23, Chosun University announced that it had successfully concluded the '2025 Change Maker: Dalbit Alliance,' which was co-hosted with Keimyung University.
This year's event was organized by the Chosun University Teaching and Learning Development Team and jointly operated by the Keimyung University Center for Teaching and Learning Development. The program was held over three days, from July 15 to 17, at the Gwangju ACC Design Hotel, with 20 students from Keimyung University and 20 students from Chosun University participating.
This program has been conducted since the signing of the 'Business Agreement for University Innovation' in 2020, and this year marked its sixth edition. The 2025 program focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and was operated as a design thinking-based problem-solving project. Students from both universities were divided into a total of eight teams, regardless of their home university, and concentrated on directly defining social issues and deriving creative and feasible solutions.
On the final day of the project, a presentation evaluation was held to select the teams with outstanding achievements. Each team identified various issues occurring in the local community and presented creative business plans to address them.
A total of three teams were selected as outstanding teams: the '7SeongSaida' team for their 'Exercise Continuation Project for Youth,' the 'Dr. Kwak' team for their 'Give Meal Project to Improve University Students' Eating Habits,' and the 'Eight' team for their 'Youth-Friendly Small and Medium Enterprise Project, JotsoJotso.'
Hwang Seokseung, Director of Academic Affairs at Chosun University, stated, "Not only did this become a meaningful venue for exchange between the Yeongnam and Honam regions, but it was also a valuable experience for participating students to think together, collaborate, and grow. We hope to continue building a future-oriented educational model where the region and universities develop together through ongoing cooperation."
