Korea Tourism Organization Launches Reservation and Payment Service for Local Tourist Taxis and City Tours

The organization stated that the reservation and payment service is available in 24 local governments selected through the "Public-Private Partnership for Tourism Transportation Revitalization" contest held in April. Tourist taxi products can be booked and paid for through the "TmoneyGO" app, while city tour products are available through the "Kakao T" app.

To celebrate the launch of this service, the organization announced a promotion offering up to 50% off tourist taxi products on "TmoneyGO." The 50% discount will be available until the allocated budget is exhausted.

Park Hyeun, head of the Information and Transportation Team at the Korea Tourism Organization, stated, "By unifying the previously fragmented reservation and payment systems for local tourism transportation, we expect to improve user convenience and make a tangible contribution to revitalizing regional tourism." She added, "Within this year, we also plan to provide city tour reservation and payment services through the foreigner taxi-hailing app 'k.ride,' in collaboration with Kakao Mobility."
