Gyeonggi Province Recruiting Companies for Urban Regeneration Local Management Service

Gyeonggi Province will be recruiting companies to participate in the "Gyeonggi The Dream Service" from July 21 to August 14 of this year.

The Gyeonggi The Dream Service is a customized local management service provided through the "Gyeonggi The Dream Regeneration Project," which is the Gyeonggi Province-style urban regeneration project of the 8th popularly elected administration.

The core objective is to establish a virtuous cycle structure in which residents, Urban Regeneration Support Centers, village cooperatives, and companies work together to operate various revenue-generating businesses such as elderly and child care, education, culture, welfare services, and public facility management. This creates local jobs and reinvests a portion of the profits back into the community.

The recruitment targets private companies such as village enterprises, social enterprises, and social cooperatives. To apply, companies should submit an online application form containing information about the company, types of services they can provide, and other relevant details via QR code or other online methods.

Gyeonggi Province will post information about interested companies on the website of the Gyeonggi Urban Regeneration Support Center and share it with the urban regeneration departments of cities and counties, supporting private sector participation in future planned urban regeneration projects.

Kim Tae-su, Director of Urban Regeneration at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The Gyeonggi The Dream Service, provided through public-private cooperation, is at the core of Gyeonggi Province-style urban regeneration for sustainable urban renewal," and added, "We will continue to encourage private sector participation in urban regeneration to achieve sustainable revitalization of old downtown areas."
