to Create Content for "Seoul Birth Support Project"

Eight families with diverse backgrounds, including Wonder Girls member Woo Hyerim and running ambassador Ahn Jungeun's family, have been selected as the new faces to promote Seoul City's "Seoul Birth Support Project."

On July 21, Seoul City announced that it had finalized the selection of eight teams for the 2nd class of "Seoul Baby Ambassadors," who will serve as promotional models to introduce the city’s birth support initiatives to citizens in a relatable way.

This second round of recruitment attracted a total of 1,317 applicants, drawing even greater interest than the first round, which had 800 teams. Experts comprehensively reviewed each team's motivation for applying, understanding of the policy, and content creation capabilities, ultimately selecting eight teams.

The eight families chosen from a competitive pool of 165 to 1 include a wide range of participants, from influencers with tens of thousands of followers to friendly neighborhood families. The selected teams include: the "Keunsan" family, who are active as Insta-toon creators; the "Ttowayeong" family, who will introduce various benefits and information related to pregnancy and parenting through their first child in early childhood and a second child on the way; the "Dojinanolja" family, where an architect father and a culture-loving mother share tips for easy outings with their child every week; and the "Jigubyeol" family, who create parenting content together with their pet cat.

Notably, well-known figures such as Wonder Girls member Woo Hyerim and running influencer Ahn Jungeun also applied directly and were selected as final ambassadors. Ahn said, "I learned about the Baby Ambassador program through the '2025 Seoul Stroller Run.' Seeing the sincerity of the participants made me want to join the second class and share the true happiness of parenting with many people."

The second class of Seoul Baby Ambassadors will use their unique strengths to create content and promote the city’s low birthrate policies. The content they produce will be uploaded to the official social media accounts of the "Seoul Birth Support Project." During their activities, they will receive a stipend and childcare products, and families who produce outstanding content will receive special awards.

Ma Chaesook, Director of the Seoul City Women and Family Affairs Office, stated, "The Seoul Baby Ambassadors are significant not just as promotional models, but because they are actual participants in the policy who create content themselves, which helps foster empathy. I hope that the voices of real parenting families living in Seoul will help the Seoul Birth Support Project connect more closely with citizens."
