[Breaking] Insurrection Special Prosecutor Indicts Former President Yoon Sukyeol in Detention

Charges Include Violation of Martial Law Review Authority and Obstruction of Arrest

The special prosecutor team led by Cho Eunseok, which is investigating the insurrection and foreign affairs cases related to the 12·3 Martial Law, referred former President Yoon Sukyeol to trial while in detention on July 19.

This is the second time former President Yoon has been brought to trial, following his indictment and detention on charges of being the ringleader of insurrection by the Prosecutors' Martial Law Special Investigation Headquarters in January.
