Job Counseling Sessions to Be Held in 15 Neighborhoods from August to November
Gwangjin District in Seoul (District Mayor Kim Kyungho) announced on July 18 that it will operate the 'Visiting Job Center' for the second half of the year from August to the end of November to provide practical employment opportunities for job seekers.

The Job Center will visit 15 local community centers and related organizations in the district, offering job counseling sessions. Through this initiative, the district aims to increase the private sector job matching rate and expects to achieve tangible employment creation effects.
In the first half of the year, the center also visited community centers, the Security Association, and the Dong Seoul Mail Distribution Center, conducting a total of 18 job counseling sessions. In particular, on-site counseling at the Dong Seoul Mail Distribution Center for those nearing retirement received a very positive response, with many participants expressing a desire for regular visits.
The schedule for the second half will begin in Guui 1-dong on August 19. In October, sessions will be held in Jayang 3-dong, Jayang 4-dong, Junggok 1-dong, Junggok 2-dong, Junggok 4-dong, Guui 2-dong, and Gwangjang-dong. In November, the center will visit Jayang 2-dong, Hwayang-dong, Junggok 3-dong, Neung-dong, Guui 3-dong, Jayang 1-dong, and Gunja-dong. The operating hours are from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.
At each site, a total of three staff members?including one career counselor and two members of the job discovery team?will provide one-on-one customized counseling tailored to each job seeker's experience and desired field. They will also support job seekers in connecting with local employers to facilitate actual employment.
Meanwhile, the district also operates ongoing employment counseling at the 'Gwangjin District Job Center' located on the 5th floor of the Gwangjin District Office Integrated Building, offering job registration and employment information. Residents wishing to seek employment can visit the center with a valid ID.
