Go Youngju, Chief of Suwon Nambu Fire Station, Gives Career Lecture at Hwahoong Middle School

Go Youngju, chief of Suwon Nambu Fire Station, gave a career introduction lecture to third-year students at Hwahoong Middle School in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, on the 16th.

This special lecture, held under the theme "Meeting with a Professional - Firefighter," was organized after students from Hwahoong Middle School sent thank-you letters to Suwon Nambu Fire Station in May.

During the lecture, Go Youngju explained to the students the roles of firefighters, the practical aspects of firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical activities, as well as the important values and sense of responsibility to consider when choosing a career. After the lecture, there was also a Q&A session with the students.

One student who participated in the lecture said, "I always thought being a firefighter was a cool job, but this was a chance to realize just how much courage and responsibility it actually requires."

Go Youngju stated, "Being a firefighter is not just about putting out fires; it is a profession that carries the important responsibility of protecting people's lives and property. As long as you have a spirit of service and a sense of responsibility, anyone can take on this challenge, so I support all of your diverse dreams."
