Dtonic, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) data platforms, announced on the 17th that it received the AI & Data Award at the 2025 World Smart City Expo (WSCE), currently being held at BEXCO in Busan.
WSCE is Asia's largest exhibition for sharing the latest smart city technologies from around the world. Since 2017, it has been jointly hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Science and ICT. Last year, nearly 300 companies from over 70 countries participated. The value of smart city-related contracts signed at the event alone approached 1 trillion won.

With this award, Dtonic has proven its capabilities in the smart city sector. Dtonic provides its proprietary AI data platform D.Hub and on-device AI platform D.Edge not only to domestic clients but also to cities and companies overseas. The award recognized the significant contribution of these AI data infrastructures to smart city development. Notably, cities that have collaborated with Dtonic, such as Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Ulsan Metropolitan City, and Incheon Metropolitan City, also received awards at this event.
