On the 17th, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, due to a low-pressure system moving eastward from the West Sea on this day, precipitation of 20 to 80 millimeters is expected in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. The morning low is forecast to be between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high is expected to range from 28 to 31 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the coastal waters off the West and South Seas are expected to be high, around 2 meters, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is forecast to remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Meteorological Administration stated, "On roads adjacent to rivers, lakes, or valleys in inland areas, fog may be denser than in surrounding areas," and advised, "Drivers should reduce speed and pay special attention to traffic safety to prevent collisions and other accidents."
