Delivering a Slice of Integrity with Cookies at Lunchtime Events
On July 16, the Masanhappo-gu district of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a "Lunch of Integrity Event," providing "Integrity Cookies" containing messages about practicing integrity to approximately 400 employees who used the staff cafeteria.
The "Lunch of Integrity Event" is designed to help employees reflect on the importance of integrity in their daily lives and naturally practice proper conduct as public officials. The event is held once a month during lunchtime at the staff cafeteria.
Masan Happo-gu aimed to spread the culture of integrity, which can sometimes feel formal, in a more friendly and everyday manner. The district plans to continue promoting various campaigns and initiatives so that public officials can make integrity a part of their daily lives.
Seo Hogwan, head of the district office, stated, "Integrity is the foundation for public officials and the starting point for citizens' trust. Although it is just a small piece of cookie, I hope we can share and put into practice the meaning it contains together."
