At the first plenary session held on this day, the council decided on the timing and duration of the 2025 administrative affairs audit and handled seven agenda items, including the "Resolution Urging Tobacco Manufacturers to Acknowledge Product Defects and Assume Social Responsibility," which was proposed by council member Kang Jaehong.
During this extraordinary session, the council will receive reports from each department on the main administrative achievements for the first half of 2025 and plans for the second half, as well as reports on the reserve fund expenditures for the first and second quarters of the 2025 fiscal year. The council also plans to review and vote on a total of eight agenda items, including two ordinances proposed by council members and six items submitted by the county governor.
According to the detailed schedule, on July 17 and 18, each standing committee will review ordinances and general agenda items and conduct site visits. From July 21 to 29, the plenary session will hear reports on the main administrative achievements for the first half of 2025 and plans for the second half.
On the final day of the session, July 30, the council will hold its ninth plenary session to conduct final review and voting on the agenda items examined by each standing committee.
