Min Hee-jin, former CEO of ADOR, who was reported to the police by HYBE on charges of breach of duty, has been cleared of all charges.
On July 15, Min's side stated, "In April last year, HYBE filed a criminal complaint against Min for breach of duty," and added, "Both cases filed by HYBE have resulted in non-indictment decisions, with the police concluding there was no evidence of wrongdoing."
In response, HYBE immediately announced it would file an objection with the prosecution. HYBE said, "After the police investigation, new developments have occurred, such as NewJeans members declaring contract termination, and numerous new pieces of evidence have been submitted in related court proceedings," adding, "We intend to contest the non-indictment decisions through the objection process."
Previously, regarding the case in which Min and others filed charges against five HYBE executives in July last year for obstruction of business and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act, the investigative authorities also decided not to indict, citing lack of evidence.
HYBE also stated, "All the indiscriminate complaints and accusations filed by Min's side against HYBE and its affiliates' executives and employees have also resulted in non-indictment decisions."
