Customized Security Services for Immersive Media Art Spaces
ADT Caps and Arte Museum Collaborate to Ensure Visitor Safety
On July 15, SK Shieldus announced that its physical security brand, ADT Caps, has provided specialized security services to the immersive media art exhibition space, Arte Museum.
Arte Museum is a leading media art exhibition brand, expanding from Jeju to other major tourist destinations in Korea such as Gangneung and Yeosu, as well as internationally to locations including Hong Kong, Las Vegas, and Dubai. As the space recently surpassed a cumulative global audience of 10 million visitors, Arte Museum has collaborated with ADT Caps to introduce customized security services, ensuring that visitors can enjoy the exhibitions with greater peace of mind and immerse themselves fully in the artworks.
ADT Caps has established an integrated security system tailored to the unique exhibition environment of Arte Museum, comprising high-definition CCTV, access control systems, and unmanned security equipment. In particular, to ensure both visitor safety and the protection of artworks even in the dimly lit exhibition halls, additional 5-megapixel high-definition CCTV cameras have been installed to significantly reduce blind spots.
Intrusion and anomaly detection sensors installed in key areas of the exhibition space send real-time alerts to the ADT Caps control center in the event of an emergency, enabling immediate response. In addition, the unmanned security system provides 24-hour protection, even outside of operating hours.
The customized security system from ADT Caps helps detect potential risks within the exhibition hall in advance, creating an environment where visitors can feel safer and focus more on the exhibition. Operators are also able to reduce concerns regarding theft, damage, or safety incidents, while improving management efficiency.
An ADT Caps representative stated, "In exhibition halls with low lighting or in immersive spaces where visitors move freely, a meticulous security design is essential to allow visitors to feel secure and concentrate on the exhibition," adding, "ADT Caps will spare no effort in providing the best possible support through customized security services that reflect the unique characteristics of cultural and artistic spaces, ensuring that the emotional experience of cultural venues is not overshadowed by anxiety."
Meanwhile, ADT Caps has already completed the installation of security systems at major Arte Museum venues in Gangneung, Jeju, and Yeosu, and plans to expand its services to additional exhibition spaces in the future.
