Supply of 47 Custom-Built G90 Units
Optimized Features for Protocol Vehicles
Genesis announced on July 14 that its flagship sedan, the G90, has been selected as the official event and protocol vehicle for the Kuwait Ministry of Interior.
Of the 47 G90 units, 40 will be used for event operations, while 7 will serve as protocol vehicles. All vehicles were custom-built to meet the specifications and design standards approved by the Kuwait Directorate General of Traffic.
The G90, as Genesis's flagship model, embodies the brand's design philosophy and advanced technologies, featuring an elegant exterior and a luxurious interior crafted with premium materials. Equipped with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, multi-chamber air suspension, and rear-wheel steering system, it delivers outstanding driving performance and a comfortable ride.
Advanced convenience features such as easy close doors, a virtual 3D surround sound system, and a mood curator optimize the G90 as a protocol vehicle for high-ranking officials.
Genesis expects that being selected as a protocol vehicle will further strengthen its position as a premium brand in the Middle Eastern market. Since providing the GV80 as a patrol car to the Dubai Police in 2021, Genesis has continued efforts to raise brand awareness in the region, including the support of the electrified G80 model.
Omar Al Zubaidi, Head of Genesis Middle East & Africa, said, "We are honored that the G90 has been chosen as the official protocol vehicle for the Kuwait Parliament and now, this year, as the vehicle for official events and protocol for the Ministry of Interior. This model exemplifies Genesis's unwavering commitment to safety, innovation, and refined design, and we look forward to continuously supporting the Kuwait government based on the true value of luxury."
