Iranian President Suffers Leg Injury in Israeli Airstrike

Speculation of Israeli Agent Infiltration

There have been reports that Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, was injured during last month's armed conflict with Israel.

On July 13, Germany's dpa news agency reported, citing Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency, that on June 16?three days after the Israeli Air Force began its bombing campaign?an Israeli airstrike targeted a complex housing the National Security Council (NSC) building.

It has been reported that some of the attendees, including President Pezeshkian, sustained leg injuries in this attack. However, the extent of the injuries was not specified.

In an interview released on July 7 with former Fox News anchor and American journalist Tucker Carlson, President Pezeshkian mentioned the possibility of an Israeli assassination attempt against him. In connection with this, Fars reported that there were also suspicions of infiltration by Israeli agents.

Between June 13 and June 24, Israel conducted extensive airstrikes on nuclear facilities and missile launch sites, and carried out targeted killings of military commanders and nuclear scientists. In response, Iran launched more than 550 ballistic missiles and 1,000 drones toward Israel during the same period.

The armed conflict between the two sides was forcibly halted on June 24 due to pressure from the United States.
