New Wave is a differentiated platform that 7-Eleven has positioned as a core future growth strategy. Based on commercial district analysis, it offers customized food, fashion, and beauty products, and aims to build a youthful brand image through modern space design. Starting with the "New Wave Origin Branch" in October last year, followed by the "New Wave Jongno Jaedong Branch" and the "New Wave Daejeon Dunsan Branch," this is the fourth store to open.

The New Wave Jonggak Branch features a 132-square-meter (approximately 40-pyeong) space with a food court-style counter, and has strengthened its range of ready-to-eat products such as pizza, roasted sweet potatoes, coffee, and chicken. Additionally, fresh foods, wines and other alcoholic beverages, as well as fashion and beauty products, are displayed in dedicated concept spaces. Instant ramen and travel goods are also available to meet the needs of foreign tourists.

In addition, general categories, including the private brand (PB) Seven Select, are displayed using shelf MD signs and media bars to enhance visual recognition and shopping convenience. A spacious 5-meter-long tasting area is also available.

7-Eleven is also holding a special customer appreciation event to celebrate the opening of the New Wave Jonggak Branch. Until July 25, customers who spend over 5,000 won will receive snacks and hangover relief products, and those who spend over 20,000 won will receive a toothbrush set for free. In addition, customers who purchase lunchboxes or differentiated products (pizza, chicken) will receive bottled water and cola, respectively.

7-Eleven plans to strengthen its brand competitiveness and business stability by focusing on strategies such as expanding New Wave, enhancing the competitiveness of the PB Seven Select, sports marketing, global direct sourcing, differentiated alcoholic beverages, and O4O services.

Park Sewon, head of 7-Eleven's Development Strategy Team, stated, "We plan to actively expand the franchise model of the New Wave concept at key locations nationwide," adding, "Additional openings are currently underway according to schedule."
