Heavy Rain Warning Issued for Jangheung... Advisories for Gwangju, Mokpo, and Four Other Areas

The Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration announced that a heavy rain warning was issued for Jangheung as of 12:10 p.m. on July 13, 2025.

A heavy rain advisory has also been issued for Gwangju, Mokpo, Muan, Shinan (excluding Heuksan-myeon), and Hampyeong.

A heavy rain advisory is issued when rainfall is expected to reach at least 60 mm in three hours or 110 mm in twelve hours, while a heavy rain warning is issued when rainfall is expected to reach at least 90 mm in three hours or 180 mm in twelve hours. Caution is advised due to the risk of safety accidents such as river flooding and house inundation.
