A heat wave advisory is issued when the maximum perceived temperature exceeds 33 degrees Celsius for two or more consecutive days, or when significant damage due to heat is expected.
With the scorching heat continuing, heat wave advisories have also been issued for various regions across the country. As of the same time, heat wave advisories were in effect in Daejeon, 25 locations in Gyeonggi Province, 5 locations in Gangwon Province, 5 locations in South Chungcheong Province, 8 locations in North Chungcheong Province, 3 locations in North Gyeongsang Province, and 5 locations in South Gyeongsang Province.
