The Korea Federation of Banks announced on the 11th that it visited the Army 5th Infantry Division (commanded by Major General Yoon Kijung) and delivered consolation funds.
The Korea Federation of Banks has maintained its tradition of delivering consolation funds every year since forming a sisterhood relationship with the Army 5th Infantry Division in 1969, encouraging soldiers who are devoted to national security.
Jo Yongbyung, chairman of the Korea Federation of Banks, said, "I would like to thank the soldiers who are doing their best on the front lines for national security despite the hot weather," and added, "We will continue to support and maintain exchanges with our sister unit in the future."
