The Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office (headed by Namil Lee) has partnered with the Buk-gu branch of Cleantopia to provide customized welfare support for elderly veterans' families.
From July 1 to July 11, the Veterans Affairs Office carried out the 'Clean! Bacterial Taktak Service,' providing bedding laundry support to 33 elderly veterans' households residing in five districts, including Buk-gu, Busan.

Through this service, a total of 75 bedding items were collected, washed, and delivered directly to each household. In addition to laundry support, the initiative also included home visits to check on the well-being of the recipients and to offer words of encouragement.
The 'Clean! Bacterial Taktak Service' has been an ongoing, community-focused social contribution activity sponsored annually by the Buk-gu branch of Cleantopia since 2018. It is particularly praised for providing practical assistance in improving the living environment and supporting the health of elderly veterans' families with mobility difficulties, leading to a very high level of satisfaction among participating seniors.
Namil Lee, head of the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office, stated, "Small acts of care in daily life are the true realization of the value of honoring veterans," and added, "We will continue to strengthen welfare that veterans' families can experience in their daily lives through the 'Veterans Dream for All' initiative in partnership with the local community."
The Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office is building various public-private cooperation models to realize 'living veterans affairs in everyday life,' and plans to continue expanding welfare-linked projects in areas such as health, housing, and emotional support for vulnerable veterans.
