On July 10, Woori Bank held a press briefing at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, on its "Inclusive Financial Platform," outlining its strategies and commitment to co-prosperity with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners.
During the briefing, Woori Bank introduced its corporate finance platforms, including WonBizPlaza, WonBiz e-MP, and Woori SAFE Settlement. The bank explained that these services provide total solutions such as stable supply chain management and financial support for both purchasing companies and their partners.
Jung Jinwan, President of Woori Bank, stated, "It is difficult for SMEs to independently establish core infrastructures such as supply chain, payment network, and financial support. For this reason, Woori Bank has become the first in the financial sector to offer a supply chain finance platform, WonBizPlaza. Within this platform, large corporations and SMEs, manufacturers and service providers, and domestic and export-oriented companies can all achieve inclusive growth through mutual cooperation."
Launched in September 2022 as the first of its kind in the financial sector, the digital supply chain finance platform "WonBizPlaza" surpassed 78,000 member companies as of the end of June 2025, firmly establishing its presence. This achievement is attributed to its differentiated services, which were developed to address the supply chain management challenges faced by SMEs and small business owners and to provide management efficiency at the level of large corporations.
This platform offers the entire standard procurement process free of charge, from purchase requests to quotation and bidding, unit price contracts, ordering, and inspection. Companies can also selectively use only the procurement functions they need, tailored to their business environment. In particular, the platform enhances its uniqueness with specialized supply chain management features such as open bidding, budget management, supplier search, reverse auctions, and multi-party contracts.
Additionally, it improves convenience through a variety of user-friendly electronic contract services, including ERP integration, electronic contracts, inventory management, and automatic tax invoice mapping. It also offers systematization of managed items and a one-click application feature for surety insurance.
The platform also provides management support solutions, such as monthly and daily price trends, carbon emissions management linked to production, and services connected to large corporation MRO malls. It delivers a one-stop service for various information and services needed for business operations, such as providing information on surety insurance issuance.
Notably, "WonBizPlaza" also serves as a welfare platform for SME employees. Beyond a simple procurement solution, it supports employee welfare services for mid-sized and small companies through partnerships with more than 30 affiliates.
Woori Bank has set a goal to increase the number of member companies registered with "WonBizPlaza" to 100,000 by the end of this year. In this regard, a Woori Bank representative stated, "We will continue to upgrade the platform so that more companies can conveniently utilize WonBizPlaza by providing more sophisticated digital supply chain management solutions and building a welfare mall at the level of large corporations."
