The welcoming ceremony was attended by a total of 48 volunteer group members, including Kim Daeyong, Dean of Student Affairs at Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Head of the ST Nanum Contribution Group), and Oh Yeonpung, Head of the Social Service Center at National Gunsan University. The volunteers received a warm welcome from Darkhan City officials and local educational institutions.

This joint volunteer program was designed with the goal of strengthening global competencies. It offers a variety of cultural education programs for 5th to 7th grade students at Darkhan City Eod Comprehensive School, including: Korean language education such as writing one's name in Hangul; making flowerpots using soil and sharing flower seeds; experiencing community culture through sports activities such as Taekwondo and jump rope; and basic computer algorithm education.

The volunteer group is organized into teams for Korean language education, culture and sports, crafts, and algorithms. Through customized activities that utilize their academic majors and specialties, the group is expanding cultural exchanges with students.

Tulga, Governor of Darkhan, said, "We sincerely welcome the visit of the national university joint overseas volunteer group to Darkhan City," and expressed hope that the establishment of a national university language institute in Darkhan and the expansion of global cultural exchanges would be realized.

Kim Daeyong, Dean of Student Affairs at Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Head of the ST Nanum Contribution Group), stated, "I hope this volunteer program will help students develop as global citizens and lay the foundation for contributing to the international community," adding, "The university will continue to provide generous support for domestic and international social contribution activities."

The joint volunteer group plans to continue various educational volunteer activities until the 11th, not only at Darkhan City Eod Comprehensive School but also at the National Special School in Ulaanbaatar and other locations.
