On July 7, Ansan City announced that it held a 'Work-Family Balance Culture Expansion Practice Declaration Ceremony' and a communication training session in the main conference room of Ansan City Hall, in collaboration with the Smart Hub Managers Association.

This event was planned to enable the local community and businesses to jointly address the population decline and demographic changes caused by low birth rates, with more than 120 participants including members of the Smart Hub Managers Association.

During the declaration ceremony, members of the Smart Hub Managers Association, representing local companies, pledged to respect the work-life balance of employees, actively support the use of childcare and care systems, and spread an organizational culture where communication and consideration are part of daily life, all as part of efforts to expand the culture of work-family balance.

At the event, Kim Ji-yoon, director of the USTORY Research Institute, gave a lecture on the importance of work-family balance and communication.

Lee Min-geun, Mayor of Ansan City, stated, "Active participation by companies is essential for the culture of work-family balance to truly take root," and added, "We will continue to create a city where both businesses and workers can be happy by fostering cooperation and communication between the public and private sectors."
